Seed Beads

Seed Beads are uniformly shaped, round beads ranging in size from under a millimetre to several millimetres. `Seed Bead` is a generic term for any small bead. Usually rounded in shape, Seed Beads are most commonly used for loom and off loom bead weaving. They may be used for simple stringing, or as spacers between other beads in jewellery. Larger Seed Beads are used in various fibre crafts for embellishment, or in crochet works with fibre or soft, flexible wire. Hair Extensions
I bumped into on old friend of ours the other day at a social gathering. We had both been invited to a party that was being held by another one of our friends. I was amazed to see our old friend because her hair had grown so much since I had last seen her. In fact we had only seen Kate a couple of months ago and her hair seemed a lot shorter then. As curious as ever, I made a comment about how wonderful her hair looked and she rather casually said that she had Hair Extensions in place. I couldn`t believe how natural her hair looked and couldn`t quite work out how this was possible. I know I`m a bloke who finds things like this baffling but I genuinely didn`t know that modern Haiir extensions could look this good. Our friend said she had 10` items in place and they were the clip-in varieties. Not only were they very easy to attach they could be put into place in only a matter of minutes. I`m no expert when it comes to hairstyles but I couldn`t even see where her own hair finished and the extentions began. I have to say that I was terribly impressed by the Hair Extensions that our old friend had in place and how fabulous she looked as result.

Cardholders
We have recently altered our Cardholders for our staff members to open face Cardholders. We have found that this has made us much more accessible to the public and to other members of staff. At a glance the information that people need to know about us is readily accessible. We recently had an open day at work and it was commented by several people how easy it was to speak to us, firstly because the lanyard and Cardholders made it clear that we were members of staff, and then that our pictures and title were very clear. I also find personally that putting my lanyard and cardholder on is easy to remember even after the busiest morning trying to get the children to nursery. I used to struggle trying to remember my pin on badge as it was always on a different top or jacket. I actually put my work keys on the lanyard and cardholder as I leave work and so far I have not forgotten my work keys once, which is a great step forward for me!
